HOW INDIA IS TRYING TO GO TO THE MOON ?
Every country has a target to go to the Moon. There are many countries which are very eager to go to the moon, such as - America, Europe, Russia, China, Japan etc. So, India is also very eager to go and live and make a unique civillization in the moon. India is trying heart and soul to go and live in the moon.

India made rockets and launch vehicles to go to the outer space. India made many launch vehicles like-SSLV, PSLV, GSLV etc. In those launch systems GSLV is the most powerful launch and nice launch system. GSLV launch system can carry a big amount of load to the outer space. To send a lander and rover to the moon India always use the GSLV launch system.

⦁ SSLV: The full form of SSLV is Small Satellite Launch Vehicle. It can lift upto 500 kg payloads. It can deliver 500 Kg to the low earth orbit and 300 Kg to the Sun.
⦁ PSLV: The full form of PSLV is Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle. It can place 1,600 Kg remote sensing Satellites into sun-synchronous orbit. It can place 1,050 Kg small-sized spacecraft into GTO.
⦁ GSLV: The full form of GSLV is Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle. The mass of the GSLV is 414,800 Kg. It can lift 2,700 Kg payloads to the GTO. GSLV is Mk.III is the most powerful launch vehicle.

India has a popular reasearch institution named ISRO. The full for of ISRO is Indian Space Research Organisation. India made many successfull missions. One of them is  Magalyaan. Mangal means mars and yaan means craft or vehicle. Mangalyaan is a Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM). It is a very successfull mission with low budget. For this mission ISRO used the PSLV launch vehicle to go to Mars. After the Mars mission India's main target is to go on the moon.

Before the mangalyaan mission ISRO had made Chandrayaan 1. Chandrayaan 1 is also a successfull mission. Chandrayaan 1 is related to the moon. Chandra means moon and yaan means craft or vehicle. Chandrayaan 1 is also a Orbiter mission for orbiting the moon. Chandrayaan 1 gave us very important data about the moon. We realised that moon has water because of Chadrayaan 1. After this two missions ISRO's main target is to land a lander and a rover in the surface of the far side of the moon.

After Chandrayaan 1 ISRO started to build chandrayaan 2. Chandrayaan 2 contained a lander named vikram and a rover called pragyan. Chandrayaan 2 had successfully launched from sriharikota. Chandrayaan 2's lander had crashed in the surface of the moon because of communication problem. Chandrayaan 2 was not absolutely failed because its orbiter was doing well.

In this way India is trying to reach the moon. India will send Chandrayaan 3 to land on the surface pf the moon. I hope that Chandrayaan 3 would completely successfull. Best of luck ISRO.
